Havelberg: Florida of the North?

Excerpt from the summer issue: “Nothing” is often enough the answer of a Havelberger to a tourist’s question about what you can do here. Is it a matter of the mind?

On Havelberg-Geheimtipp.de we have listed 12 indoor and outdoor activities within a radius of 1 kilometer from the harbour. There are also 27 restaurants and cafés in the town.

In terms of scenery, with our harbor, our city island and the southern Prignitz behind us, we have the potential to offer more than Florida. I can appreciate that, because I was able to accompany 140 real estate transactions in the land of “unlimited possibilities”.

Richard Banks Perhaps what we lack is the ease, confidence and business acumen of an American. Can we learn something from them for our upswing?
